I like imagining how I would make a flower, had I been consulted. Color and form are fun to play with, and while I adore real flowers, paint gives me the opportunity to invent something slightly different.
As an aside, the title comes from a Regina Spektor song which includes a favorite lyric of mine: “Each time a theory proves/ The mystery just moves.”
